eNPS Widget on Dashboard
Interpret the score shown in the eNPS dashboard widget.

The eNPS dashboard widget provides a quick snapshot of your employees’ Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) based on responses from tenured staff.
This score helps you understand how employees feel about working at your organization and whether they would recommend it as a place to work.
By reviewing your eNPS score and survey responses, you can identify areas for improvement and track changes in employee sentiment over time.
What is eNPS?
Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is a simple way to measure employee loyalty.
It is based on survey questions that ask employees how likely they are to recommend your organization as a place to work.
Responses are grouped into three categories:
Promoters
Employees who are highly satisfied and loyal to the organization.
(Responses of “Very Likely”)
Passives
Employees who are generally satisfied but not strongly engaged.
(Responses of “Likely” or “Neutral”)
Detractors
Employees who are dissatisfied or unhappy with the organization.
(Responses of “Unlikely” or “Very Unlikely”)
Note: Responses left blank (null responses) are not included in the calculation.
How Your Score Is Calculated
Your eNPS score is calculated using the following formula:
% Promoters – % Detractors = eNPS
Example
- 40 total responses
- 22 Promoters → 55%
- 7 Detractors → 17.5%
55% – 17.5% = 37.5
Your eNPS score would be 38 (rounded).
Understanding Your Score
An eNPS score can range from –100 to 100.
A score above 0 means you have more promoters than detractors. In general, the higher the score, the stronger employee loyalty is within your organization.
| Score | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Below 0 | More detractors than promoters |
| 0 – 10 | Acceptable — promoters and detractors are fairly balanced |
| 10 – 30 | Good |
| 31 – 49 | Very Good |
| 50 – 69 | Excellent |
| 70+ | Top-class employee loyalty |
