About Ongoing Engagement Surveys

Get continuous engagement feedback from a rotating sample of employees, instead of surveying everyone once a year.

Instead of surveying everyone at once, the ongoing engagement survey collects feedback continuously and uses random sampling, so a different group is surveyed over time — Retain aims to reach about 8% of your employees each month. Every employee has an equal chance to be included.

These surveys go to active employees who have been with the company at least 100 days. Each employee gets a survey no more than once every 120 days. The cost is the same as the yearly surveys.

Like the engagement survey, ongoing engagement surveys are always anonymous.

NOTE: Use the ongoing engagement survey as an alternative to the engagement survey, not alongside it.
