Resend a Survey Link
There's no way to resend a survey link. Instead, send the employee to their profile, where every open survey they can take is waiting.
Surveys aren't a link you can pass around. Each one is tied to the employee and opens only from their own profile. That's on purpose: it keeps someone from opening the link and taking the survey for them. So instead of resending, you point the employee back to their profile, and any survey they're eligible for is right there to take.
There are two ways to get them there. Both land on the same profile page.
- One employee: copy their profile link and email it to them. See Invite an Individual to Their Employee Profile.
- A group: print profile access cards. Each card has a QR code and an access code that open the employee's profile. See Invite Employees to Profiles.
The QR code and the link go to the same place. Cards are easier for a whole group; a profile link is sent one person at a time.
If No Survey Shows on Their Profile
If the employee opens their profile and there's no survey to take, then there isn't one open for them right now. Usually it's one of these:
- The survey window closed. They missed the due date. A passed due date can't be reopened or extended for one person.
- They already submitted it. A completed survey doesn't show again.
- They started it but didn't finish. See Can employees submit incomplete surveys?
- They weren't eligible. For example, a new employee under 100 days isn't invited to an engagement survey yet. See Which employees are eligible to participate in employee engagement surveys?
If an employee left a survey partway through and wants to finish it, or wants to retake one, contact support. This only works while the survey is still open. Once the window closes, the survey can't be reopened. For more on deadlines, see Can you extend the deadline for an employee to complete their survey?
