Why did my engagement survey eligible count change?
The eligible count is set on the first of the month, and it's what your participation rate is measured against. After that, it changes only if Retain finds out later that someone should have counted on the first, or shouldn't have.
Won't change the count:
- A new hire reaches 101 days after the first. They aren't in this survey.
- An employee leaves during the survey month. They stay in the count, and a survey they submitted still counts.
Can change the count:
- An employee is added after the first with a hire date over 100 days earlier. They're added.
- An employee left before the first, but it's recorded in Retain after the first. They're removed.
Engagement scores also stay in your results after someone leaves, unless they took the survey after their termination date. This can happen if Retain doesn't get the termination data on the day the employee separated. For example, The survey opens May 1 and the employee leaves May 8, but Retain didn't get the data that they had separated until May 11. The employee took the survey on May 10th because Retain didn't yet know to deactivate their survey link. In this case, their survey response will automatically be removed once Retain has the separation data.
