Why didn’t I get an email about a news feed event?

You'll always see birthdays, work anniversaries, and 100-day milestones in your news feed. That's built in and can't be turned off.

The email is just a nudge for things you haven't seen yet. Retain emails you about a new survey or news feed item only if you haven't already signed in to view it. So you won't get an email if:

  • You'd already signed in and seen it in your news feed.
  • There was nothing new that day.

The one email Retain always sends is the Monday New Hire Summary.
