Checklist for When an Employee Joins Your Organization
Follow this checklist when an employee is hired.
This will improve retention rates and efficiently implement Retain.
- Include announcement letter in new-hire paperwork and go over survey schedule. Have them initial and sign the employee acknowledgment.
- Introduce yourself to the new hire and welcome them.
- Comment on each submitted employee survey in Retain.
- Check in with any employees who have skipped surveys.
- Take action on the employee’s feedback. Communicate what you did to the employee.
- Celebrate with the employee when they reach 100 days! Once an employee stays past 100 days, they are less likely to leave, so make sure you set them up for success by recognizing this important milestone.
