Recognition and Rewards Features and Functions
Home Page – Announcements and News Feed
The Home Page is the main landing page for all staff members.
From the Home Page, users can:
- View their point balance
- Recognize a co-worker
- View Announcements
- See the News Feed
This is where employees will interact most often with the Recognition and Rewards tool.
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard allows users to view their ranking compared to other staff or associates.
This feature helps encourage friendly competition and increased engagement.
Recognitions
The Recognitions page allows users to easily view:
- Recognition they have given
- Recognition they have received
This page provides a complete history of recognition activity.
Peer-to-Peer Recognition
The Peer-to-Peer Recognition workflow allows employees to recognize co-workers within their location.
Recognition can be submitted from:
- The Home Page
- A user’s Profile page
When a user selects Send Recognition, the recognition:
- Does not require Admin review
- Is posted directly to the News Feed
This makes it easy and immediate to celebrate coworkers.
External-to-Staff Recognition
The External Client/Resident-to-Staff recognition workflow allows clients, residents, customers, or other external parties to recognize staff members.
This is done by providing a simple QR code to clients, residents, or external parties so they can submit recognition.
Unlike peer-to-peer recognition, external recognition:
- Requires Retain Admin review and/or approval
- Is posted to the News Feed after approval
This ensures appropriate oversight while still allowing outside appreciation to be shared.
